I can’t tell you how many personal emails I receive from Glenna’s victims of theft. The last person who emailed claimed they were owed about $2,700 in refund or products.
Glenna has a history of being nasty and a poor provider of products ordered.

I made some phone calls on behalf of those who have been defrauded by Glenna.
First phone call was to PayPal. I was told that everyone who has been defrauded by Glenna, even if it is past the 45 days, needs to call them and lodge a complaint. They will look into it, and while they do, they will freeze her account if they get enough complaints/calls… etc.

This is Glenna and i am the owner of bowtique ribbon and refuse to allow you Mary to get away with these accusations about my company, nor will allow you to get away with making any of my personal information public you have gone way over your head with this and i am now taking legal action against you and your blog. It is agains the law to post anyones personal information anywhere including false accusations coming out of your mouth. I have yet to see any post on here from anyone who will leave thier proper name that i defrauded. This is all he said she said and needs to stop.
There are legit complaints and I am as the owner of bowtiqueribbon have rectified what i can with what information on each one that has posted here. I can not fix the complaints that have been either sent tracking numbers or refunding nor can i email the ones that leave no NAME. I do not have this information espesially my phone number listed anywhere in my store and Will not stand back and allow you to do this any longer.

Typically a legitamit on the up an up “REAL” Business has all their information listed where it can be easily found. This includes Addresses and Phone numbers. Only those that are trying to commit fraud or commit shady dealings hide the way Glenna does.

Well I contacted MS GLENNA today about the 2 orders she owes me. All I got was a rude it shipped sorry I cant be responsible for it once its gone. So much for I will make it right. It is very easy to print a shipping label through paypal as your proof of shipping then never ship. Yeah you may be out the $2 shipping charge but your pocketing the money for product you never ship , if you even have product. I appreciate Mary for starting this blog, and trust me it is soaring through the yahoo and ebay groups. Just think you could have really made a great name for yourself but instead you have this blog. ENJOY!!!!

The transaction is not complete until the buyer has the product in hand. The Seller *IS* still responsible for the package once it has been shipped. PayPal policy will grant a full refund if the Seller cannot prove the Buyer has the item. The only way to really do that is Signature on Delivery. I do find it very odd that your Canada postal system has “lost” so many packages headed for the US. That of course is not your fault Glenna.. but you are required to provide product or refund, even if your Postal Service lost the package. Saying it is “out of your hands.. the postal service has it” is not good enough. Your buyers do not spend hard earned money for a tracking number.
My buyers do not pay for tracking numbers please go to http://www.canadapost.ca and read Mary the shipping from Canada on packages to the USA is alot different than the shipping from USA to canada. Please understand how the shipping works from my destination with small packages surface or air then tell me i am wrong. Tracking is something that does not come with that it is available on expidited or express and that is very costly. Claims also take a very long time and once they contact me with the proper information the buyer is dealt with through the store. There are 3 claims started in paypal from this blog that were refunded or the package was delivered and the case was closed so where is the defrauding? I do not think it is up to you to submit a blog when my business that has nothing to do with you. I have had several emails stating they would never deal with you or a few on here so think about that, you have a few on here i have over a 1000 customers i serve on a daily basis. No business is perfect we all have our hicups but the accusations, slander, the tales are not needed. I promised a few I would not post on here however sit back and think before you continue this. I am available in store through email if any of you would like to continue this. To try to bring me down is NOT going to happen all you are doing is making yourself along with others look bad.
Funny how it takes this blog to get people a refund when they have been asking for MONTHS. People are talking about your business and lack of business ethics all over the internet. I haven’t posted 90% of the horrible things you have done to people. Everything I have posted has been backed up by people’s personal experiences. Apparently you need to be educated as to what slander means. I have told no lies here. Tracking / no tracking.. who cares. Bottom line is it is your responsibility to provide product or refund. FINALLY you are providing a refund, only because you have been cornered and people know the truth about you and complaints to your local authorities have been made. I stand 100% behind everything I have said. The Truth ALWAYS prevails. If someone doesn’t want to do business with me, that is their choice. I am not in this for a popularity contest. I don’t care if the whole world hates me. I know in my heart what I am doing is right, and that is more then enough for me.
One more thing.. ladies have kept all your emails and chat logs. Please don’t think for one moment that those have not and are not being sent to the proper authorities.
Save your long winded excuses for the authorities, I am sure they will be as amused as we are.
If you are such a concerened business owner and strive to make your customers happy then please refund the $37.53 I paid you. I have yet to get any of the product i ordered.

And the last thing I am concerened about is how I look in this. I am a victim of theft along with so many others. You may have a few loyal groupies but I am sure they wont stay that way for long.

I just read this and found it interesting. I’ve had experience with Paypal and paying for something only to never receive it. The seller sent me an empty envelope (for something that should have weighed around 10lbs), and Paypal told me they could do nothing about it because the seller could provide proof of delivery! They could prove they sent me something, but it was an empty envelope! Well, Paypal was NO help, thankfully I paid for the transaction with a credit card, and Discover gladly refunded me my money. Afterwards, I got an email from Paypal saying if I had a problem I need to go through them and not my credit card company. Hello? I tried that lol. So, especially for larger transactions I always use a credit card because I know they’ll be a lot more helpful should I have a problem. I also think you can contact your bank and some may do the same thing, but with my bank they have said if I authorized the payment they can’t help me.
I placed an order with a company and never received it. DC showed it had been delivered. PayPal refunded my money because the seller could not prove that I actually received it. I am sure it is still in some pile at the Post Office. It appears that PayPal has some gray areas. They HATE when you do a credit card charge back. I always use a cc with PP just for the added buyer protection.
I just wanted to make a few comments…
First of all I have not had any problems with Glenna personally. I have always gotten my orders and nothing missing and at first thought it was 1 or 2 people who were complaining, but, this is unbelievable. I cannot believe how many people were screwed out of money.
I was also in on her headband buy and they were terrible quality. I got rid of them on ebay as I would have never used them to sell to my customers with my name on them.
I do see how she attacks people when they ask why they have not received their purchases and I honestly cannot believe a business owner would act this way as it is a turn off for anyone else to buy from her.
I am not going to purchase anything from her again as I feel that 1, 2, 3, mistakes hey, they happen, but this is continuous and she does not seem to want to rectify anything. That is poor business in my opinion and I will not be a part of that.
Also, don’t you think that Cynthia should be given a heads up. It is not her fault that Glenna is operating illegally…she might not know.

While not wanting to discuss every detail, I can tell you that I ordered 4 months ago and did not get the refund until yesterday, after being told it was shipped twice and not receiving either
package. This was following numerous posts to rosiesribbons’ blog by
a lot of people who had also had problems, and several people
contacted the host of the website, the domain registrar, the Canadian
BBB, and even so far as the FBI. Following all these contacts, some
of us did begin to get the refunds we had been due.
I think it’s fair to point out that none of us had any hope of
getting a refund until these pressures were put on. I am sorry for
any of you who are still waiting, but if you will go to rosies blog,
you will get all the info you need to file a complaint. That may be
the only way to get your refund.
Maybe some of you have been told that there are only a few of us who
are complaining, or we got our things, or we never ordered anyway,
etc. I just want to assure you that there are a lot of us, not just
2 or 3. We did not get our items paid for. And we did not get any
resolution to our problems until we got serious about filing
complaints.
If you have had problems with this site, I would urge you to post to
rosiesribbons blog so that we can
begin to accumulate a record of the problems and the number of people
who are still waiting after months for their orders or refunds.
The point of this post is not to cause distress for any of you who
are so tired of hearing about this, but to reach out to the people
who are still fighting this battle on your own, and let you know that
there are people who will help you to get a resolution to your
problem or will at least steer you in the right direction. I for one
am extremely grateful to the people who helped me when I was at a
breaking point about this order and desperately needed my money
back.

I challenge Glenna to do the right thing and refund everyone she owes…I know it’s way more than 2 or 3, there are hundreds and hundreds of dollars out there and we deserve to get our hard earned american dollars back! If I get my refund I will post about it, sure. But hey first I need the money back in my account. Stop playing word twisters with us and be upfront about it, start REFUNDING NOW! Not tomorrow, not next week, not after you figure this or that…because it seems you have a really bad memory and forget to get to things promised afterwards.
So Glenna the challenge is this, for you to start refunding those who you owe and cleaning up YOUR mess…and not robbing Peter to pay Paul, not humilitaing, intimidating and degrading these hard working moms in the process, not insulting our intelligence with petty excuses and lies.
Do the right thing and give these moms whats rightfully theirs.
I really do hope everyone that is entitled to a refund does get one. All I can say about this women after reading all of the emails about the stress she put on these fellow loopys is that she is a “See You Next Tuesday”!

I just wanted to thank you all for the kind words and support about my website(www.bowbuddies.com) posted in the “good things” section of this blog.
I know some of you have been told things that have caused you to not re-order from me and all I can say is, get to know me and don’t believe what you hear.
I believe I have replaced all the “missing or unreceived” bow buddies for those of you who had ordered some and didnt receive them. All I can say is that I know I sent all the orders I was given at the time.
If there is still anyone out there who hasn’t rec’d buddies that they paid for, please email me and allow me to make this right for you.
While I was greatful to have had my BUDDIES get some advertising in a “real on-line store”, I am sorry for the misunderstanding of anyone thinking I was a partner to anyone. I was not and am not affiliated with ANY one ribbon seller and I am sad and tired of people judging me because they thought or think I was. I really dont want to receive any more negative emails or “hear” how many of you dislike me from her or anyone else.
I am a christian woman who believes if you have a problem with someone, then GO TO THAT PERSON and work it out. That is why I have not posted sooner than today. I’m not here to bash anyone, but to feel like I need to defend myself to those of you who for some reason choose to believe gossip.
Again, all I can say is I was making BUDDIES wayyyyyyyyyyy before I was offered a spot in the store and I am making BUDDIES now. My honesty, integrity and standards have not changed and my workmanship has improved as time has gone by.
To those who have given me the opportunity to make BUDDIES for you recently, thank you and for those that have “dismissed” me, I hope you will see things clearer as time goes by.
I will not be accused of “feeling sorry for myself” any longer. I have said and made it clear from day one that I make these BUDDIES to help defray the medical costs of my cancer(which btw, stress does not help at all). The FACTS are the FACTS and if being honest with people and telling them some about my situation is wrong, then don’t read it.
Since having been diagnosed one year ago, life sure looks different now. I wouldn’t wish this past year on anyone!! If you haven’t had to deal with the constant unknown of where the cancer might hit next, DONT accuse me of feeling sorry for myself. It’s called reaching out to friends and seeking prayer, support and kindness.
Sorry to take up so much space on this blog, but I prayed for the correct way to handle this and I feel I have.

You’re awesome and keep your head up. The truth will shine through and people will see all that you are doing to make this right, even though it was NOT YOUR FAULT.
I ordered from Glenna and it took FOREVER AND A DAY to get my money back. Only after lawyers were involved did I get my money back.

Wow! I can’t believe that Glenna has the guts to show up here. That takes Balls. I have heard every single defense she has made over and over and over again. Don’t you think for one second that she means anything she says. I know for a fact that there is data out there from a group she ran from her fraud that has been turned over to internet fraud people. And I know for a fact that there are people on that group that you still owe hundreds of dollars too.
Not to impressed with the Gator Security they did nothing and said that they cant deal with it paypal or credit company’s have to!
I had an issue with Glenna’s Wee Boutique over 1 1/2 years ago. I purchased a diaper bag from her website after chatting with her several times trying to receive information about the bag. I knew what I wanted but was having a hard time trying to figure out if it had all the items I was looking for. I was told that Glenna had never seen on in person. Only that they were drop shipped from the manufacturer. She knew nothing about the bag. I thought that was a little odd but took the chance to order after she told me I could return it, no problem, if it turned out to not work for me. The bag came from Canada, from the manufacturer. It took over 2 weeks to get here, which I understand. The problem is, though the bag is super cute and good quality, it doesn’t work for me. I needed something very specific. I emailed Glenna, my 30 days had not yet passed. I told her I needed to return it as it wasn’t working. Remember that my 30 days was very short because the bag had already taken over 2 weeks to get to me. She told me that to return it I would need to call the manufacturer, as it was drop shipped directly from there. SO, I called the company. It is a small company and of course I had to leave a message. I also emailed. I got a phone call back with a couple of days and was told that as the order was not placed through the manufacturer that I would need to return it to the Wee Boutique. They took the order they take the return. It makes complete sense to me. So, I again contacted Glenna and let her know what the manfacturer said and that I needed to return the bag. She said she could not take the return as she did not stock the bags and that I should try and sell it on Babybags. I have had the bag for about 1 1/2 now and still haven’t been able to sell it. I can’t use it because it doesn’t fit my needs and cost me $158 dollars. The company is small and therefore hard to sell to people who haven’t heard of it.
In short I ordered something I was promised I could return if I didn’t like it and then was shut down. In addition, after all this was said and done she said, “anyway, your 30 days are up.” Well, I contacted her before my 30 days were up but the run around she gave me definitely put my after 30 days.
In addition to that issue I paid for several things for buys she was doing in her group for items I never receieved. She never did claim to ship them and I did get a refund. But, it is just another instance of things promised and never received.
I don’t know that Glenna is a thief or purposely defrauding people but I do know that she doesn’t do business well and needs to stop trying. If nothing else she is a well intentioned person that gets in way over her head and probably has financial problems. This may be an effort to try and honestly generate some income that has gone horribly wrong. Whatever the case I wish all of you the best of luck in getting items or refunds. I do hope that she can be shut down, not because I necessarily believe her a real thief but because no one needs to be losing money anymore. Whatever the reason she needs to not be allowed to practice business anymore.

P.S. I have a super cute Melissa Beth Babylicious diaper bag in pink that is for sell. NWT. Like I said it is a great bag, diaper bag and laptop bag if you carry a laptop. Also great if you don’t. It has a spillproof, wipeable liner. It just doesn’t work for me to carry with my kids.
Wow!! I thought I was the only one. I ordered ribbon in April and received half of my order 6 weeks later. I did eventually recieve a refund for the rest of my order, but I thought Glenna was very rude during the transaction. I was tempted to try and order from her again, but after reading this I know better. As for the bowwbuddy lady, I am sorry to hear about your cancer, my mom and bow partner was also diagnosed a year ago (7/3/07) I will keep you in my thoughts and definitely order from you in the future. Update on Refund Challenge:
OK in keeping my word that I would post when I recieved my full(??) refund I am posting my update. Please read the whole message to fully understand the extent of the ordeal.
I had ordered ribbons in feb and march 2008 and from the forum of BR, when the pre-order ribbon finally came in they came all in one shipment, however I did notice I had some prints missing and some where shipped but I had ordered double of some prints (some in feb and paid and some in march and paid) and those were sent out only in single orders, meaning the other half of my orders where missing. In addittion to all this I had been in the soft sole shoe buy from China, this was to be in our hand by begining of May and it was mid May and still nothing and no news. Glenna told me she could not get ahold of her contact in China for the shoes and apparently we had lost our money. She said she would start refunding soon.
I joined her private members group for ($14.50), why? you ask, bc at this time I had over $100 involved in transactions and thought $15 to keep track of her and my orders would be better than not join and loose all contact. At this point I was still missing 15yrds! of AC ribbon and she refused to refund these, blaming the person she had assigned to cut and ship for the delay in my refund and refunds to others. After numerous questions and a lot of emailing and chatting I did get my refund for the shoes, minus the PP fees since the refund period had expired, so I was still out of money but this time it was closer to $30 plus the double order of ribbon that I only recieved one of, by now my account was deleted and all proof of my orders were vanished as I was in my account copying and pasting to save.
I then proceeded to deal wit my AC and other missing ribbon and bow buddies and of course I asked way too many questions and posted on the board wondering about AC and shoes so Glenna was not happy about me being part of her private group and would NOT send me the invite to her private Yahoo group which I had paid to be in, but also would not refund my money. She told me over and over it was non-refundable however she had not kept her part of the deal,yet again.
Long story a bit shorter I did get my refund…was it easy? NO, more like pulling teeth with no meds and no tools. Many of you wonder how did I get my refund..well Don’t give up, keep your evidence of ALL communication with her, keep asking, hounding if you will. I believe, me not giving up, posting on here and challenging her to refund and contacting PP and Host Gator and other venues helped a lot.
Do not give up or give in to other settlements, she will make you feel guilty for asking about your items and refund, she make you feel like you are the one doing wrong, she will play her pitty card on you, she will blame others for the mishaps. Don’t fall for it.
She had the audacity to try to publically say I recieved my refunds for these items months ago, and say that I was misleading about the bow buddies and was trying to steal. When in fact I was not and she had admitted she owed me all that I stated and tried to turn it on me.
So in the end YES I got my refunds (shoes, group, some ribbon, Bow buddies and AC), minus some fees and missing some ribbon I was not able to prove I purchased since my purchase account is deleted. I also got lots of headaches, time lost and stress in dealing with all this. Was it worth it? NO!…from now on I will listen to others experiences with companies/suppliers etc. Usually if a lot of people are having issues or complaints there must be something going on, not just an isolated incident or misunderstanding.
When initally purchasing from someone, make small purchases to see how the transaction goes, and judge from there. DO NOT and I repeat DO NOT purchase more items in hopes they will rectify your past purchases, chances are they will forget to fix your issues with past item and you will continue to have issues with future items.
Moral of the story, if it looks like__, smells like__, it must be__. Don’t be fooled.
Glenna I further challenge you to keep refunding ALL those that you owe items and monies. I pray that God sheds light upon you to see what damage you have done, you might have taken food out of a childs mouth, bc their mother was to use these items to supplement much needed income for their family, or to pay high cost medical bills, or whatever the need was.

Wow! I’ve heard Glenna’s name before, and knew there was trouble out there, but WOW! Having been a business person all my life (brick & mortar store), I can only say, this is what ruins “small businesses” for everyone. You have someone like this, who knows nothing about fair business practices, and people get burned, and they are leery of any business. We owned a home improvements store for 19 years and there were times when we had to do a refund, or lose money, ( and I’m talking big ticket items here, not ribbon!!), and it’s just a part of business. We did everything we could to make things right, to make a customer happy, and to be fair. We also built that reputation, so it always pays off in the end. It’s people like Glenna that don’t need to be business people. She needs to be in another line of work. It’s what is wrong with our world today. Looking out for #1 and no one else!
